Le Mans watchers will know that Audi defied the diesel-doubters years ago by winning the 24 hour race with a diesel. The SQ5 follows that grand tradition - 0-62mph in 5 seconds, and it only stops at 155 because the electrics won't let it go any faster

The SQ5 sits lower than the usual Q5, gets sportier suspension, and those 4 fat exhausts in case you were in any doubt

All cars get Bluetooth, three-zone climate control and a 6.5-inch colour display, while automatic lights and wipers, rear parking sensors and cruise control are also standard. An extensive options list includes an upgraded Bang and Olufsen stereo, satellite navigation and Audi’s innovative connect system which turns the SUV into a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The potent Audi SQ5 was first revealed at this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours, and could lead the way for further hot diesel models in the near future which we’ll be sure to include in our business car news.
