It’s kept many businesses out of the red, but Mazda will launch its new 6-saloon to the world at the Moscow motor show next month.
Teaser shots hint at the all-new Mazda6 which will be seen for the first time on 29 August at the show which runs until 9 September and which will be followed by the Paris show 18 days later.
Opting for Moscow is a clever move by Mazda as it’s going to steal a march on rivals which are being planned to be unveiled in France.
Russia is also an important market for Mazda where medium sized cars are in great demand.
Still, SMEs over here won’t care – what they want is good running costs with low CO2 emissions for reduced company car tax.
Mazda says the new Mazda6 will deliver. It features the latest Skyactiv fuel saving engineering and technologies (read reduced company car tax) which have caused a stir but it will also be seen with the Kodo-soul of emotion design themes.
Mazda6 has been very popular with the UK business community thanks to its engine technology and its packaging which incorporates highly desirable features for professional drivers and which attract comparably lower tax costs.
The company currently has the old style Mazda6 BusinessLine model at advantageous business car leasing rates. The features in the BusinessLine model – such as the added sat-nav and bluetooth – are likely to feature as standard in the new Mazda6 as the company plans to ensure the new model has the greatest company car appeal possible.
