Business Car Manager Verdict
If you need or indeed, want – a full-sized, premium SUV and like the attractive starting price for the Laredo variant, a stack of good equipment and the solid authenticity of Jeep’s brand values, the 2014 Grand Cherokee makes an honest and worthy shout for your attention.
Price wise, the Grand Cherokee Summit comes in a tad under £50,000 which leans it perilously close to the stomping ground of the all-new Range Rover Sport.
While Jeep must be applauded for the new engineering and technological improvements made in the new Grand Cherokee, the odds are clearly stacked against it in the business car debate. The numbers are simply too prohibitive to make any practical business sense.
Which, to be honest, is a shame. Because it’s really rather good.
