WITH Jeep’s new focus on the SME Company Car Market, we caught up with Renegade Senior Product Manager, Rob Lake, at the UK launch.
We asked him what he thought the opportunity was for this new SUV in such a crowded market.
“There’s going to be two key Renegades for the corporate/SME company car market really.
“The fleet/retail mix we anticipate is going to be 50:50, give or take a couple of percent.
“For the fleet market, the core engine is going to the 1.6 Multijet diesel two-wheel drive in Longitude trim, purely for the low 120g/km CO2 emissions.
“We could potentially do a Business version of the Renegade. One of the things often done with Business versions, is they’re set aside from the normal range – to tweak the spec a bit.
