Senior Product Manager, Rob Lake said the Renegade is likely to have a 50/50 split between retail and fleet

“Some of the money built in for doing customer incentives, isn’t built into those models, to keep the OTR and P11D prices lower.  So that’s probably the next phase of what I’m going to be looking at.

“In the Limited trim, I think we’ve got the package right, so doing something with the P11D pricing is my plan for the future.

“The Fiat Group has done a lot of work with organisations such as the Forestry Commission, with models such as the Panda 4×4, it would nice to be able to convert some of those sales to Renegade really. It will do the same thing as the Panda, but with more space and towing ability.

“But for SME company car buyers, we expect Renegade to be a two-wheel drive proposition, with a mix between Longitude and Limited trim levels.

“We’re talking to all the big leasing companies, we’ve brought in a lot of people from other organisations into the Fleet Team. Those have contacts and will be letting them know that we’ve got something for them. They’ve got a large fleet to lend out, so they’ll be getting them out in Renegades to try them.”
