Keep moving swiftly on M6 toll

BUSINESS drivers on the M6 toll road – 45,000 daily – can now use the Birmingham bypass more conveniently. Drivers can now pay the toll using TOTALCARD or Eurotrafic fuel cards as payment.

M6 Toll transactions are invoiced together with any monthly fuel transactions in a straightforward VAT-approved format. It should make the expense process more cost and time effective for small businesses.

“Businesses that currently utilise TOTALCARD and Eurotrafic fuel cards will benefit from our new and innovative partnership,” commented Eric Fanchini, TOTALCARD card manager. “From the beginning of October, cardholders will be able to use their fuel cards on the M6 Toll as payment and at no extra cost or hassle.

“This new agreement is part of TOTAL’s ongoing commitment to innovation,” added Fanchini. “Our Eurotrafic cards are already accepted on all tolls in France; being accepted on the M6 Toll is a natural progression and fits within our overall strategy of delivering a first class service for both new and existing customers.”

The M6 Toll is Britain’s first privately funded tolled motorway. It covers 27 miles from near Cannock in Staffordshire to Coleshill in Warwickshire and offers drivers time-saving opportunities to avoid a section of the heavily congested existing M6.
