Lex Autolease fleet hits 300,000
Managing Director of Lex Autolease, Tim Porter

IF you are an SME looking for a reliable vehicle leasing company, Lex Autolease is certainly worth considering when it comes to the procurement of company vehicles – however large or small your requirements may be.

Its commitment to customers and unique ‘Business Critical’ scheme makes the company an ideal choice for any business seeking reliability and quality service.

Five year growth plan

As part of its five year plan to grow its fleet size to 375,000 in the UK by 2018, Lex Autolease has announced that they have now reached its 300,000th vehicle delivery, maintaining its position as the country’s largest fleet company.

In 2014, the business grew its fleet by seven per cent, adding 10,000 cars and 11,000 commercial vehicles.

Total fleet assets also increased to £3.3bn – representing a year on year growth of 10 per cent – and celebrated many new client wins.

Business Critical service

New product launches included the ‘Business Critical’ service that was unveiled in September for fleets whose vehicles are deemed as critical to their core business activity i.e. those who provide essential services.

The 300,000th vehicle is part of an existing liveried fleet for London-based care provider Clece Care Services. The fleet is operated on a sole supply contract hire with maintenance basis, for vehicles to be mainly used for nursing staff to travel between hospitals and patients’ homes.
