Former head of operations steps up to director role at Zenith fleet and leasing company
LOOKS like a case of good service rewarded here at the independent business car leasing and fleet management company Zenith.
Mark Connor, who was the head of operations for Zenith, has now stepped up to become a board member having been appointed to the position of operations director.
It’s been a quick rise to the top for Mark, who joined Zenith as head of operations for the car leasing company just two years ago.
When Mark joined it was to a newly created position at the time to further enhance the quality and scope of Zenith’s operational offering to both existing and new customers.
Not that Mark will be shaking off his old responsibilities. The newly appointed operations director will continue to be responsible for maintenance and in-life services, accident management, procurement and contract administration, as well as the vehicle hire division.
Mark has ten years experience in the fleet industry, in senior management roles across a number of operational areas.
Tim Buchan, who is Zenith’s chief executive officer, said about Mark: “He has led his team to deliver excellent levels of customer service and has been responsible for driving forward many new initiatives, which benefit all our customers and drivers. As we continue to grow and develop, Mark will be a valuable asset to the board.”
Before Mark joined Zenith, he had 10 years’ experience in the fleet industry in a variety of senior roles across a number of operational areas.
