THE Ford dealer group, the recently renamed TrustFord, has a new fleet and commercial vehicle director.
That man is Mark Wilkie.
Mark Wilkie has over 20 years’ experience in the automotive sector. He spent nine years in senior operational roles before joining the TrustFord team in August 2013 as General Manager of its Huddersfield and Bradford dealerships.
Reporting directly into Operations Director, John Leeman, Mark will be responsible for overseeing TrustFord’s entire fleet and commercial vehicle operation, which accounts for over 40 per cent of new vehicle sales for the business.
Mark Wilkie said this on his appointment:
“I am thrilled to be selected to head up the fleet and commercial vehicle division. As a result of our commitment to our customers, as well as a fantastic team of devoted salespeople, TrustFord has been a leader in best practice and innovation for many years; I’m looking forward to helping further develop this important area of the business.”
Speaking of Mark’s appointment, John Leeman, Operations Director, said:
“Since joining us in 2013 as a General Manager, Mark has had a significant impact on our business, thanks to both his excellent leadership style and a dedicated approach to our core business principles. I have absolute confidence that Mark will be integral to the ongoing growth of this vital business division.”
TrustFord said there was no comment about the future of former fleet and commercial vehicle director Tony Dray.
