What’s not?
- One of the downsides of the smaller dimensions of the new MX-5 can be felt in the cabin, with taller drivers only just comfortable in the driver’s seat and plain uncomfortable in the passenger seat! Things get even worst with the hood up…
- On top of being tight for tall drivers, there’s virtually no interior oddments space for sunglasses etc.
- Another downside of the shorter dimensions is the lack of bootspace. Yes, it’s a useful space, but at 130-litres, it’s 20 litres down on the Mk3 car. Best pack light then, if you’re planning any touring.
