Miguel Cabaça: moves from Paris as new Arval managing director

ARVAL has a new managing director: Miguel Cabaça.

Cabaça replaces Benoit Dilly, who moves to Paris to a new position within Arval’s parent BNP Paribas Group.

Cabaça, who officially started the role in November working with Dilly to ensure a smooth transition, has come to the UK from Arval’s corporate head office in Paris where he was director of private lease for Arval.

Prior to that, Cabaça held a number of management roles within the BNP Paribas Personal Finance business which he joined in 2000.

Dilly moves to Paris having served Arval as MD for more than four years, and leaves the UK business following a period of sustained organic growth, including the successful integration of the GE Fleet business.

The latter has allowed Arval to grow its UK market share and almost double the size of its leased fleet (from around 85,000 vehicles to more than 160,000 today).

Arval currently sits fourth in the FN50 behind Lex Autolease (381,833 fleet size); LeasePlan (168,155); and Volkswagen Financial Services (166,480).
