Nexus: more rental vans from more suppliers

Nexus expands daily rental supplier list

DAILY rental van broker Nexus has expanded its daily rental suppliers. This move is against a background of declining van availability from the major rental companies.

Nexus provides daily rental vans and cars – and rental management – for a business of any size, from the smallest one-man limited company to large enterprises. To meet current market conditions, Nexus has expanded the number of rental companies in its supply chain by over 50% to more than 80 providers.

“This network expansion reflects the growth of the business over the last year or so. We need to be able to find whatever type of vehicle a customer needs, wherever they need it,” commented Neil McCrossan, chief executive officer, Nexus.

“We work with the major rental companies plus very many independent and specialist providers across the country, all of whom meet the service standards set by us and demanded by our clients,” added McCrossan.

But the extension of the Nexus network is also a reflection of the availability of cars and vans currently being experienced in the rental sector. McCrossan said it was necessary to expand further in order to ensure it had access to the vehicles business van managers required. Customers were also able to use the Nexus IRIS rental management platform without charge, McCrossan added.
