Fleetdrive Electric, specialists in sustainable car and van leasing, have extended their product portfolio to include an electric vehicle flexi-lease.

Businesses who are looking to explore how electric vehicles can add benefit to their company can now try them out on a commitment free flexible lease term.

Fleetdrive Electric will provide ongoing support to all fleets making the switch to electric

Fleetdrive Electric will provide ongoing support to all fleets making the switch to electric, including the provision of driver training. This will help ensure that any investment in this new technology will achieve optimum performance from the electric vehicles to get the most economical benefit.

Fleetdrive have already provided Slough Borough Council with 2 Nissan Leaf EVs on a flexi-lease arrangement, as a result of a sustainable fleet analysis, where a number of practical electric vehicle operational uses were identified to generate long-term savings for the Local Authority.

Commissioner for Environment and Open Spaces, Councillor Satpal Parmar, said;

“We are always looking for new ways of encouraging more sustainable methods of travel, improving air quality and making the borough a greener and healthier place to live.

“Electric cars are the way of the future and I’m delighted Slough is leading the way with this trial.”

Managing Director at Fleetdrive, said;

“With driving costs as low as 2p per mile, and the commitment-free flexible leasing arrangements we can offer, electric vehicles make real business sense.“

Fleetdrive Electric won our Best Small Fleet Green Leasing Company Award 2014
