THE new Generation Hyundai i20 will be priced from £10,695 when it arrives in the UK at the beginning of next year.
The latest Hyundai i20 is designed and made in Europe, and is longer, lower and wider than its predecessor. A 45mm increase in wheelbase means more interior space, and boot capacity is 326 litres.
Extensive use is made of ultra high strength steel in the new Hyundai i20, increasing rigidity by 64% for improved handling.
Particular attention has been paid to reducing noise, vibration and harshness via the careful use of sound-deadening materials.
The base Hyundai i20 S model has two off-shoots – the S Air (£11,445), which features air conditioning and the S Blue (£12,445), which has an 84g/km version of Hyundai’s 1.1 CRDi 75PS diesel engine. SE, Premium and Premium SE models cater for those who want a more luxurious experience.
The New Generation Hyundai i20 also majors on safety with a full complement of six airbags, Hill Start Assist Control, ABS, ESP, VSM, Emergency Stop Signal, Tyre Pressure Monitoring all standard across the range. Also available: Lane Departure Warning, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control with speed limiter and static cornering lights.
