The Honda Jazz 1.2 i-VTEC now comes with Idle Stop to reduce emissions and improve efficiency.

It delivers a combined fuel economy of 54.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 120 g/km – representing an improvement of 3 g/km. This drop in CO2 emissions means the car now sits in tax band C and costs only £30 a year to tax. The Jazz SE with Idle Stop is available to order now for £12,870 and sits above the S grade with air con in the model line up.

It also benefits from the addition of Auto Climate Control and body coloured door handles and mirrors.

Idle Stop technology is already a standard feature in all Honda’s hybrid models – CR-Z, Jazz Hybrid and Insight – as well as across the new Civic range.

The Idle Stop system improves efficiency by automatically switching off the engine when the car comes to a stop and is put in neutral with a foot off the clutch. The engine springs back into life as soon as the clutch is depressed  to select a gear and move off again.
