As should the fact that the new Hyundai i10 is 80mm longer, 65mm wider, 50mm lower and now offers 252 litres of boot space – up 10% compared to the current model. Somebody has thought long and hard about this car.
Those looking for maximum efficiency should opt for the mid-spec SE Blue Drive model with manual transmission, which offers 98g/km CO2 emissions – putting it in the 11% company car tax band. Make a note, the SE Blue Drive is available as a four-seater only, all the others have the full five.
The entry-level S trim offers cloth interior, 14-inch steel wheels, central locking, electric front windows, CD player, USB port, daytime running lights and ISOfix connections.
The SE and Premium models offer improved specification, with 15-inch alloys, a heated steering wheel, heated seats, parking sensors and cruise control available as options throughout the range.
The new Hyundai i10 goes on sale in January 2014.
