New Mazda6 diesels make strong business case

The latest Mazda6 range includes three new diesel engines. The new 2.2-litre diesels replace the previous 2.0-litre diesel.

The new Mazda6 2.2 diesel is available in three power outputs: 125PS (147g/km CO2); 163PS (147g/km CO2); and 185PS (149g/km CO2).

The latest Mazda6 models were launched in January with strong residual values: CAP valuation experts put the Mazda6 2.2 D 5dr TS 163ps at 38% of its cost new price after 60,000 miles over three years.

Rival cars, such as the Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTi 160 5dr, were only worth 36% after the same period.
