Mercedes C-Class Coupé’s sporting highlights

  • Sports look and feel with new C-Class Coupé;
  • Lightweight and aerodynamic improvements claim up to 27% improved economy;
  • Semi-autonomous driving cruise control up to 124mph.

A DASH of sporty style comes to the Mercedes-Benz middleweight company car contender with the launch of its new C-Class Coupé.

A sporting drive is promised by a dynamic chassis with optional air suspension. Reduced weight, improved aerodynamics and high-performance, efficient engines should boost driving pleasure still further.

The sporting intentions of the new Mercedes C-Class coupe are underlined by an exterior boasting a longer, sleeker look with suspension 15mm lower than the saloon plus 17-inch alloys. With an 80mm longer wheelbase, the C-Class Coupé is also 95mm longer and 40mm wider. The increased vehicle volume above all creates more shoulder room, elbow room and headroom in all seats.

Sports extend to the interior with exclusive Coupé sports seats. Plus there is an automatic belt feeder for added convenience.

An AMG Line is available offering special bumpers and sills featuring AMG body-styling, a diamond radiator grille with pins in chrome and 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels. Interior highlights of the AMG Line include sportily exclusive touches such as upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather/DINAMICA microfibre in black with contrasting topstitching, a multifunction sports steering wheel with flattened bottom section and AMG sports pedals. The trim in open-pore black ash, combined with aluminium in the dashboard and the doors, emphasises the look.

New engines will be welcomed by the BIK conscious company driver claiming up to a 27% improvement on fuel economy.

There are four petrol engines available for the Coupé from the 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine in the C 180 with 156hp to the two-litre C 200 184hp and C 250 211hp models and the C 300, still a two-litre but with an output of 245hp.
