SMALL business owners and directors wanting some of Jaguar’s XF action now have the choice of a 3.0-litre V6 petrol Luxury model priced at a highly competitive £29,900 for the first time.

The Jaguar XF Luxury still retains many of the XF’s sumptuous specification – leather seats; interior mood lighting; seven-inch full colour touch-screen display with navigation; Bluetooth technology; six-speed auto; and Keyless Start – but at a lower price entry point.

“We would like to appeal to low mileage drivers who do not necessarily want or need to drive our popular diesel,” noted Geoff Cousins, Jaguar’s managing director.

“By reducing the entry price for the XF range to less than £30,000 for the 3.0-litre petrol model, we have made our four door saloon even better value for money,” Mr Cousins added.

At the same time, Jaguar has introduced a sportier version of its Diesel XF based on the XFR. Called the Diesel S, the new Diesel S now comes with an XFR derived interior as standard.

The interior now features leather sports seats from the XFR, plus high-gloss Piano Black veneer and suede headlining.

Meanwhile, the Adaptive Dynamics system, currently featured on the XFR and XK range, is available as one of two option packs.

The Dynamics Pack incorporates the Adaptive Dynamics system to provide continuously monitored ride, so there is both sports handling and a luxury ride. It costs from L1250 depending on model.

The Aerodynamic Pack is designed to give an even bolder style to the XF Diesel S. It features new black mesh inserts for the grille and lower air intakes and side sills from the XFR. The cost of this option pack is L1500; or L2000 with the LED lights.
