FOUR new Paragon regional sales managers have been appointed, capitalising on growth to expand its geographical reach.
In 2016 Paragon Car Finance has seen its loan book grow by 120% on full-year 2015 results.
The new regional sales managers (RSMs) bring a wealth of motor industry experience and knowledge to the team and significantly expand Paragon Car Finance’s geographical reach.
In Southern England and South Wales, Paragon is growing its sales team with the addition of Des Connor, Jon Rix and Thom Wells. The three new RSMs bring experience and knowledge from leisure, commercial and car markets from within franchise and independent dealer groups
Covering Yorkshire and the North East in the expanded team will be Vanessa Attenborough, with more than 20 years’ experience in motor finance.

New Paragon regional sales managers
Des Connor
Des joins Paragon Car Finance as a Regional Sales Manager for the South West. Previously at Capital Bank, HBOS and Close Brothers. Des brings with him knowledge in new business sales, dealer development and key account management.
He has a wealth of experience across leisure, commercial and car markets within franchise and independent dealer groups.
Jon Rix
Jon has over 19 years’ experience in the motor industry and has joined Paragon as a regional sales manager for South Wales area. He has undertaken a variety of roles working for Peugeot and Volkswagen franchises before moving into the motor finance industry with First Response. Jon brings with him experience in sales, business development and sales management.
Vanessa Attenborough
Vanessa has over 20 years’ vehicle finance experience having spent a number of years with Bank of Scotland in their Leisure and Motor Divisions, more recently as a key account manager for Close Brothers Motor Finance. She has recently joined Paragon Bank as their Yorkshire/North East regional sales manager.
Thom Wells
Thom joins Paragon Car Finance as a Regional Sales Manager for the South. Previously at Motonovo Finance and Close Brothers, he spent 10 years looking after large accounts and brokers. Thom brings with him knowledge and experience in account management and business development’
