TOYOTA has unveiled prices and a new hierarchy of trim levels for the updated Yaris. The existing Active and Icon badges are joined by two new ones – Sport and Excel – and the company says the new line-up is designed to widen the Yaris’ customer appeal.
Toyota says that high equipment levels feature throughout the range with the “one-up from base” Icon getting a leather-trimmed steering wheel, air con, and the Toyota Touch 2 multimedia touchscreen system as standard.
Toyota Touch 2 has a new seven-inch screen, as well as Bluetooth, a rear- view camera, a trip computer and a DAB digital radio that automatically reverts to FM in areas where DAB reception is weak.
Toyota Touch 2 with Go, available as an option on Icon, Sport and Excel models, adds navigation, connected services and access to applications such as Toyota Real Time Traffic, as well as services such as fuel prices, weather and parking information.
