New SEAT Exeo launches with £259 lease offer

The new SEAT Exeo business saloon goes on sale at the start of April.

The SEAT Exeo will be available to business users for just £259 a month. The lease deal is over three years and 30,000 miles. It does not include maintenance.

For higher mileage drivers, there is the contract hire offer of L306 a month for 36 months/100,000 miles. Both offers apply to the 143PS Exeo SE diesel.

It is the first time SEAT has produced a car in the Mondeo class. And SEAT is banking on good value and high quality to attract small businesses to the Exeo saloon.

The new SEAT Exeo is based on the previous generation Audi A4. But with a SEAT-designed front and rear end.

There will be four models in the Exeo line up: S, SE, Sport, and SE Lux. Specification is generous.

All models include: alloy wheels; dual zone climate control; Bluetooth handsfree phone system; anti-skid ESP; and a six-speed gearbox. Exeo Sport models have lowered suspension; Exeo SE Lux models include leather.

There are three engines in the range, two common rail diesel units, and one turbocharged petrol:

  • 2.0 TDi 143PS 51.4mpg, 143g/km
  • 2.0 TDi 170PS 58.7mpg, 153g/km
  • 2.0 TSI 200PS 36.7mpg, 179g/km

At the end of the year a 120PS turbo diesel engine will join the line up.

A SEAT Exeo ST estate version joins the range in May.

“The Exeo offers a very different choice to the traditional Mondeo or Insignia,” said Nick Andrews, head of fleet and business sales, SEAT.

“We have a premium quality car with an exceptional standard of equipment. The Exeo also has low running costs and low tax. We expect most small businesses to choose the SE 143PS model, which has a benefit-in-kind company car tax rate of just 19%.”

The contract hire rental rate of £259 a month is being offered through SEAT Finance.
