Opel Corsa in disguise
Rear of five-door version of new Vauxhall Corsa – there will be the choice of Sport or Comfort set ups

German press reports suggest that there will also be a 90 PS version, with an entry-level 75 PS option arriving a bit later on, along with a four-cylinder diesel.

Also promised – “superbly tuned” steering and a newly developed chassis that will be available with a choice of Sport and Comfort set-ups. German media reports also point to new front suspension geometry, better materials, improved levels of refinement and a cockpit incorporating touch-screen technology.

Opel says that the development effort is now on the “home stretch” and the new Vauxhall Corsa should arrive later this year.
