Academy leasing is dedicated to providing a prompt and competitive service, drawing from its knowledge, experience and relationships with funding partners, suppliers and manufacturers to ensure each customer receives the most relevant and beneficial package in-line with their needs.

Their nature is somewhat unique, in that they operate in both Vehicle and Asset funding industries. As such, their customers benefit from having one source for all of their vehicular and capital expenditure needs.

The company prides itself on customer retention, with recent statistics showing that over 80% of fleet customers renew their vehicles with Academy Leasing limited.

Garry explained;

“It’s a testament to our service, and the value we recognise from our existing customers. Ultimately, we start the replacement dialogue with our customers well in advance to ensure that the new vehicle arrives in good time, and that we have explored alternative vehicles and profiles in-line with special offer campaigns running at the time of renewal.

“We have started ordering the likes of Range Rover, BMW and other marques utilising our fleet discounts to provide rare stock vehicles at competitive rates. The new Evoque (for example) is a ten month lead time, and we want to curtail this issue for our customers.”

Academy Leasing Ltd is also busy planning its all-new website, even though the company’s online presence currently only accounts for a small percentage of Academy’s’ customer enquiries.

Garry Harrison-Lea concluded;

“When Academy started trading in the eighties, online marketing was not really a part of the sales armoury. Of course, times have changed massively and whilst we don’t want to bombard web visitors with every vehicle on every profile, we at least want to provide an indication of current special offers to gain interest.

“However, our ethos remains that we want to talk to people and understand their needs. This is something a website can never comprehensively do, and given how important and diverse the type / size / budget / timeframe can be for vehicles we feel it’s the right balance. Although details are fairly limited, it’s anticipated that our new website will be something that is quite different to ‘the norm’.”
