“Out of the seven model ranges we tested, LPG came out on top four times, while two out of seven occurrences it was last,” Eric said.
“From our findings you have to conclude that LPG is the fuel that creates the least harmful impact on the environment. We shall be advising governments of our findings.”
LPG: time for a comeback? It depends how EU policy makers decide the future make up of emission compliance. But with the UK facing a £300m fine each year for failing to meet EU clean air standards, the regulators need to consider the findings of Eric and his team more closely.
