PEUGEOT is shaking off its dowdy image with this dramatic new RCZ coupe.
With its Audi TT coupe challenging style, the RCZ 156 THP manual model will also shake up the market with its £19,900 price tag.
There will be two trim levels – called simply Level 1 and Level 2.
RCZ Level 1 includes 18-inch alloys, dual zone air con, active rear spoiler and standard anti-skid ESP.
RCZ Level 2 provides additional spec, such as 19-inch alloys, leather seats, front parking aid, and auto-tilt reverse door mirrors.
There are three engine options:
- 1.6-litre THP 200bhp six speed manual, 39.8mpg CO2 less than 165g/km;
- 1.6 litre THP 156bhp six speed manual, 40.9mpg and CO2 of 159g/km; and
- 2.0 litre HDi FAP 163bhp six speed manual, 52.3mpg with CO2 of 139g/km.
The latter two engines will appeal most to small business users with engines below the 160g/km tax break, meaning a writing down allowance of 20%.
The all-new Peugeot RCZ coupe goes on sale from spring 2010.
