Access to AlphaCity vehicle 24/7

The AlphaCity vehicle remains at the Leighton Buzzard Grundfos’ headquarters, meaning that multiple drivers have access, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through an electronic card system. To utilise the vehicle, employees check availability and book the vehicle online.

This process has taken away the worry about physically managing vehicles keys, booking processes and compliance with the associated health and safety and financial legislation.

Head of Corporate Mobility at Alphabet, Kit Wisdom, said;

“Today, mobility for businesses and their employees is no longer merely about company cars, rental vehicles and their financing. It’s about providing a wide range of options for going from A to B, and optimising the total cost of mobility.

“New, flexible schemes such as AlphaCity corporate car sharing can not only help businesses avoid unnecessary environmental impact, but free up time and resource to focus on other areas of the business”.

Grundfos has been an Alphabet client for over four years and there is potential for expansion of the car sharing initiative into other company locations in Birmingham, Leigh or Livingston.
