Range Rover Vogue SDV8 road test – don’t look at the numbers, just drive one

Aristocratic motoring with oodles of luxurious feel-good factor. But don’t tell your accountant.

The new Range Rover is instantly recognisable, but don’t under-estimate the improvements under the skin

Business Car Manager Verdict

Motoring luxury rarely gets better than this: imperious motorway mile cruiser, luxuriously furnished, marvellously practical (especially with the help of those electrics to minimise effort) and astonishingly good off road – that’s the all-new Range Rover.

And in this SDV8 version, the Range Rover’s breadth of abilities are truly astonishing.

It’s not the model for most SME directors and those whose company car tax allowance extend to such aristocratic dream machines; no, the SDV6 Range Rover makes much more sense.

But if you’re an SME business owner, and successful, you’ll find fewer better ways to spend your money on business car motoring.
