Revised Touran with ParkAssist

A facelifted version of the VW Touran will make its debut at the Paris motor show in late September.

The Touran features revised front and rear styling, improved interior and a new range of engines.

But for drivers who have difficulty parking large MPVs there is new ParkAssist. This is an automatice parking system. A driver needs to apply power and brakes. But the Touran does all the steering into the parking spot.

Key points of the new Touran:

  • New: grille, front lights, ParkAssist
  • Line up: S, SE and Sport
  • Two petrol engines: 1.6-litre (102PS) and 1.4-litre TSI (140PS)
  • Four diesels: 1.9-litre (90PS and 105PS); 2.0-litre (140PS and 170PS)
  • On sale: June 2007
