In addition to providing a selection of cars, ŠKODA has also entered a team of 12 fleet staff and customers to embark on the 300-mile trek to the continent. Among those taking part are head of fleet, Patrick McGillycuddy, national fleet sales manager, Henry Williams, and rental & mobility manager, Andrew Thomas.
McGillycuddy said: “This is the fourth year that ŠKODA has been the official vehicle sponsor and the third year ŠKODA has entered a team into the London to Paris bike ride. We’re really excited to be part of such an iconic event and have all been training hard and ramping up the mileage in preparation for the 300-mile challenge.
“Our vehicles are ideal for use as a support car; they are incredibly reliable, well-engineered and offer class-leading space so can carry lots of equipment and withstand the wear and tear that comes with the cycling territory.”
London to Paris isn’t the only ŠKODA-backed cycling event, though.
