Ulster prop Tom Court and scrum-half Paul Marshall with their post match Skoda mode of transport
A Northern-Irish car dealer has teamed up with an established sports management company, to supply a set of top rugby players with a selection of award-winning Skodas.
Mervyn Stewart Skoda in Belfast has locked arms with Cornerflag Management to provide 18 cars for stars including Ulster’s Tom Court and Paul Marshall. The move comes after positive feedback from the players, resulting in the supply of Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, Octavia vRS and Superb Elegance cars in the immediate future.
Bryn Cunningham, Athlete Manager for Cornerflag, said: “The players were really impressed with Skoda – they tested the cars and consider them to be good quality and remarkably efficient.
“The Fabia Monte Carlo proved a particular favourite with the squad as it is good-looking and fun to drive.” The cars have been purchased for the player’s personal use.
