“If you had to name just one car that inspires younger buyers, then the DS3 Cabrio might be it. It is a genuinely desirable small cabriolet seen to be sporty with lots of flair.

“In some respects, we are surprised to see the Hyundai Coupe in the Hot Five but there is no denying the value for money that it represents for someone in the market for a nominally sporty car.”
Of the slow movers, Pontin added: “Once again, we see a couple of cars in the slowest sellers that probably don’t deserve to be there based on their own merits. Vauxhall’s Cascada is not a bad machine but suffers from an almost non-existent image, while the Nissan Leaf is excellent but simply currently in oversupply.”
