Vauxhall Insignia VXR
The new Insignia VXR SuperSport – 4WD and 325PS sets it well apart from the usual company car crowd

EVER felt your company car lacked a bit of bite, or was a little slow off the mark?

Fear not.

The new Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport is here to save the day with 325PS and enough grunt to whisk you to 60mph in just 5.9 seconds.

…enough grunt to whisk you to 60mph in just 5.9 seconds.

With the facelifted car due for reveal at this week’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport lays claim to be the fastest car under £30,000 on sale in the UK (in saloon form). That makes it perfect for small business owners and company car drivers who feel their standard Insignia CDTi lacks a bit of mid-range punch.

The visual changes to the new VXR SuperSport follow the rest of the Insignia range and feature revised headlights, a bigger grille, new rear lights and a revised Vauxhall badge. Inside there’s a redesigned dashboard, while DAB radio is now standard across the range.

All VXR Supersport models come with four-wheel drive, making them a great choice for anyone living in the sticks or those likely to encounter some of the UK’s adverse weather this winter. It helps grips on wet roads, too, with absolutely no wheel spin when pulling away from junctions and traffic lights.
