Audi is launching the performance version of its S5 Cabriolet for those who like to get a sun tan. At speed.
The new Audi S5 Cabriolet features a supercharged V6 engine that will whisk you to 62mph in 5.6 seconds. But actually manages nearly 30mpg – so you can spend more time topping up the tan in the car than topping up the tank in the fuel forecourt.
Audi’s seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission comes as standard. And so does an electric hood that can switch from open to closed in 15 seconds should the rain threaten. All this can be performed on the move at up to 31mph.
And when the roof is closed, special acoustic materials mean the Cabriolet is as quiet as the A5 Coupe on the motorway.
The Audi S5 Cabriolet is available to order now for delivery in in October – just in time for beautiful autumnal sunshine.
The new Audi S5 Cabriolet, which replaces the S4 Cabriolet, is priced at £42,245.
