Free recharging at Supercharger network, with 20-minute half charge
PCP purchase option from £404 per month with £13,070 deposit
Equivalent to about £296 per month with fuel and road tax savings against conventional internal combustion engine car
TESLA is launching a new in-house PCP purchase option for its high performing Model S priced from as little as £404 per month, opening ownership to a wider audience.
And with savings in fuel costs and road tax that normally add to the spend, Tesla’s tantalising PCP option outlay can be brought to under £300 a month.
The 100% electric car is so advanced that it sets the new standard for premium performance with unprecedented range of up to 330 miles on a single charge and a thrilling drive experience, reaching 0-60mph in as little 2.8 seconds.
Model S, with its unique functionality including Autopilot and Traffic Aware Cruise Control is the world’s first premium electric car packed with performance – all with zero emissions.
With the newly launched Tesla PCP finance option buyers have enhanced flexibility and an attractive low monthly payment of just £404. Include the fuel costs and road tax savings and this could be the equivalent of £296 per month for a comparable internal combustion engine car.
Monthly payments can be even further reduced with deposits up to 30%, or a minimum of only £2,000.
With two and three-year PCP options, no early repayment penalties or hidden fees, and support for various mileage terms, this new programme opens Model S ownership up to a wider audience.
And to launch Tesla PCP, they have reduced the monthly payments for a limited time only, which is already factored into the Design Studio
In addition to Tesla PCP, Tesla has a variety of attractive financing options available including a hire purchase programme on Model S that starts at just £600 per month. After fuel savings, this is the equivalent of only £492 per month.
Model S’s unmatched range and Supercharger network make long distance travel easy for drivers. The Tesla Superchargers provide Model S owners free long-distance travel with conveniently placed stations along well-travelled routes between cities.
The Supercharger is substantially more powerful than any charging technology to date, providing up to 120 kilowatts of power to Model S and can replenish about ½ a charge in 20 minutes.
In the UK, Superchargers stretch from Exeter to Edinburgh – you can see where they are here.
Most other premium business company cars need to be booked in for a service to get the latest software updates but thanks to Tesla’s over-the-air software updates Model S regularly receives added functionality and enhanced performance to improve user experience.
The latest v7.1 software update includes the new Autopilot functionality which limits safety risks and increases convenience while keeping the driver an integral part of the driving experience. Autopilot allows Model S to steer within a lane, change lanes with the simple tap of a turn signal, and manage speed by using active traffic-aware cruise control.
The calculation behind fuel costs and road tax savings is described at the bottom of Design Studio where you can also specify your own Model S.
Personal Contract Purchase
A Personal Contract Purchase arrangement through Tesla allows customers the benefits of ownership with the flexibility of having options at the end of the contract.
Customers may purchase the vehicle for the Guaranteed Minimum Future Value (GMFV), re-finance the GMFV to take full ownership, trade-in their vehicle and use any equity as a deposit towards a new Tesla, or simply return the vehicle to Tesla. Customers may apply for a PCP through the Design Studio for 24 and 36 months from 10,000 to 25,000 miles per year.
