Thule, the Swedish maker of car roof rack systems and roof boxes and accessories, has developed a product range for professionals and craftsmen.

Called ‘Thule Professional’, the load systems will make it easier and safer to transport loads such as pipes, ladders and timber on business vans.

Thule Professional features several technical innovations. A heavy-duty aluminium load bar with a unique three-slot design enables the fitment of multiple accessories, including a ladder carrier that tilts down to the side of the vehicle.

“The professionals we spoke with during development asked for accessories that would enable them to transport their work tools effortlessly,” said Peter Barker, marketing manager, Thule.

“Thule Professional offers safe and robust transport solutions that will help the user to save time as well as also looking good on the vehicle.”

What’s in the Thule Professional range?

  • A ladder carrier that tilts down to the side of the vehicle
  • A load stop that can be folded to horizontal position
  • A conduit box designed for easy access to the loads
  • A roof-fitted awning to shelter from the weather
  • On sale end of May
