TomTom Telematics maps out growth with acquisition of Fleetlogic

TomTomTHE telematics firm TomTom Telematics has extended its reach into the Dutch and European telematics fleet management industry  with the acquisition of Dutch fleet management firm Fleetlogic.

The acquisition will further enhance its position as the market leader in the Netherlands and in Europe.

“The fleet management market in the Netherlands is an important and fast growing market in Europe,” said Thomas Schmidt, managing director TomTom Telematics.

“Adding the experience of Fleetlogic in enterprise fleets and government sales, we now address the full potential of this growing market.”

TomTom Telematics said the acquisition would add 27,000 subscriptions to the TomTom Telematics installed base giving it a reach of more than 450,000 vehicles.
