McLaren 540C
The McLaren 540C may look familiar but it is in fact a brand new model from the British supercar maker. It joins the recently introduced 570S – unveiled at the New York Motor Show – in McLaren’s Sports Series range and is a lightly watered down of the aforementioned model aimed at the Asian markets.
It’s powered by the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 you’ll find in the 570S but is fractionally less powerful producing 533bhp. It also features a slightly softer setup for a more forgiving ride and less standard equipment, but it will become the most affordable McLaren ever produced priced from £126,000 when it goes on sale later this year.
