SMALL fleet leasing specialist Fleet Alliance has seen a continuing drop in the CO2 emissions of the cars it has provided across its fleet despite an increase in sales over the last year.
The lowest carbon-emitting car on the Fleet Alliance fleet is the Toyota Auris Hybrid with average CO2 emissions of 91g/km, giving it a company car tax banding of just 10%
The Fleet Alliance CO2 average for its fleet currently sits at 123g/km per vehicle, which is significantly lower than the average for all new cars, which stands at 133g/km.
However, a low company car tax banding isn’t necessarily the way to every company car driver’s heart. It terms of popularity the Toyota Auris Hybrid was only the 32nd most popular in terms of number ordered.
