Travelodge is launching a new Business Account Card.
The budget hotel chain is aiming to increase its appeal to businesses as firms seek to cut their travel expenses.
Travelodge says its Business Account Card has been developed in response to businesses looking to switch from mid-market hoteliers to the budget sector.
The new Travelodge Business Account Card will offer business customers a credit facility for the first time. There will be eight weeks’ credit available.
“An easy way for any business to cut costs is to stop paying a small fortune to stay at mid-market hotels and instead switch to the budget sector,” commented Guy Parsons, managing director, Travelodge.
“The Travelodge Business Account Card is our way of making it easier for companies to do so.”
Businesses can use the Business Account Card to book rooms via the internet, on the phone, through business travel agents and in hotels. It can also be used in Travelodge Bar/Cafés.
