The compact Volvo estate V50 Sportwagon now features a bolder and sportier front end.

There are also redesigned rear lights with LED light emitting diode brake lights.

The saloon S40 model also receives similar changes.

The interiors feature more storage space. Plus there’s a wider choice of interior trims.

There’s also a new D5 diesel engine with six-speed manual gearbox. This model will be the fastest diesel in Volvo’s line-up.

The turbo T5 model also receives a 10bhp power hike to 230bhp.

New safety features include active bi-xenon headlamps that swivel the light beam in sync with the steering direction. While if an airbag is deployed, the hazard lights activate automatically.
