Vauxhall Ampera
Company car tax? Just £56 a month even if you’re a higher rate tax payer

Lower rate tax payers opting for the basic model will pay just £337 per year, while even higher rate payers are only looking at a company car tax bill of £674. Compare that to a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi in Titanium spec and you’ll face a bill of £627 and £1254 respectively.

Standard equipment is decent, too, with all cars getting climate control, heated front sets, alloy wheels and a rear parking camera as standard – as well as a futuristic interior and a design like no other on the road.

So if you want to help the environment and stand out in the process, the Vauxhall Ampera – ACFO Green Vehicle of the Year – could well be the company car for you.
