Vauxhall Cascada’s soft-top chic offers a great deal to business buyers
Vauxhall's chi chi new Cascada is a great buy for business owners looking for soft-top luxury without a hefty price tag.
VAUXHALL’s appealingly elegant Cascada convertible will start from £23,995 when it arrives in showrooms later this year.
Vauxhall is pitching the four-seat Cascada drop-top against established upmarket rivals like the Audi A5 Cabriolet, and claims it is the most luxurious car in the firm’s entire model range.
Buyers can drive away a brand new Cascada 1.4T SE for just £279 per month – with a deposit of £7,255. Not bad.
This should make it a compelling proposition for business owners or self-employed professionals looking for wind in the hair thrills – but without the premium price tag.
The firm’s popular Flexible Finance hire purchase scheme makes the Vauxhall Cascada a great buy for business owners who want to buy privately, and then claim their business mileage using the pence per mile rate. The scheme offers buyers 0% APR, with any deposit, over a term between 24 and 60 months. The firm’s renowned Lifetime Warranty is also standard across the Cascada range.
Any business use can be claimed back on the tax-free approved mileage allowance payment (AMAP) business mileage scheme at a rate of 45 pence per mile for the first 10,000 miles. (Get up to date with the AMAP scheme here.)

Two trims will be available from launch – SE and Elite – with all cars getting 18-inch alloy wheels, a sports chassis, LED tail-lights and rear parking sensors. Elite models add front fog lamps, heated front seats, leather trim and a heated steering wheel.
Engine choices include a 1.4 and 1.6-litre turbo petrol, and a pair of business-friendly 2.0-litre diesels. The more powerful of which gets two turbos and 195PS, allowing it to hit 60mph in just 8.9 seconds. It emits 138g/km of CO2 and will return 54.3mpg – which, interestingly, is identical to the figures posted for the lower powered diesel.
