Vauxhall Insignia SRi heads Top 10 three day test drive favourites

THE Vauxhall Insignia SRi is the most popular company car ordered under Vauxhall’s special three-day test drive scheme.

The Insignia SRi has 17-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension and front fog lights all as standard.

In second place was the leather-trimmed Insignia Elite, which benefits from larger alloy wheels, parking sensors and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat.

Vauxhall’s three-day test drive scheme is aimed at giving prospective company car buyers a cost-free extended road test.

The sporty Astra GTC SRi, Astra SRi five-door and Insignia SE completed the top five.

The still impressive, yet lower spec, Insignia Exclusiv came in sixth, boasting standard kit like climate control, chrome window surrounds and split-fold rear seats. Seventh place was occupied by the sat-nav equipped Insignia Tech Line, while eighth, ninth and tenth were taken by the Astra SE, Astra Tech Line and Astra Exclusiv. The three-day test drive programme offers fully comprehensive insurance, delivery, collection and no mileage limit, while all you need to do is fund the cost of fuel and parking, and cover any fines or tickets should they occur in the allotted 72 hours.

All current Vauxhall models, apart from high-powered VXR models and commercial vehicles are available on the scheme and can be booked through this link – Vauxhall three-day test drive. That includes the  company car friendly Astra and Insignia, as well as practical Zafira and super-frugal Ampera hybrid.

What’s more, all new Vauxhalls come with a comprehensive lifetime warranty, which covers the car’s first owner for up to 100,000 miles.

In 2012, the volume of Vauxhall’s three-day test drives grew by 35 per cent. Vauxhall hopes to grow the three-day test drives to company car drivers by an additional 25 per cent in 2013.
