Vauxhall’s online booking for servicing should save business motorists time and hassle

Story: DAVID WILKINS

BUSY business motorists can now save a lot of time and fuss by using a new online system for booking servicing and repairs at Vauxhall MasterFit dealers.

Instead of hanging on the phone to organise an appointment during valuable office hours, a couple of quick mouse-clicks when things have quietened down a bit should do the job instead.

Slots can be booked at 48 hours’ notice by following the “Book a Service” link on the main www.Vauxhall.co.uk website.

Another benefit of the system is that it provides access to Vauxhall’s Fixed Price Repairs and Fixed Price Servicing offers, so customers should know in advance what they’re going to pay.

Fixed price servicing starts at £99 including parts, labour and VAT, and further reassurance is provided by Vauxhall’s Price Match Promise. That’s supposed to ensure that the Vauxhall dealer isn’t undercut by local alternatives for similar work.

“We’ve found that roughly a third of our customers like to book their car in for work outside of normal business hours,” said Vauxhall’s AfterSales Marketing Manager, Andy Biernacki. “The new Vauxhall MasterFit online system takes the hassle out of booking a service, and gives small fleet peace of mind that they’re getting great value from their local retailer.”

All company car management work under the scheme is carried out by Vauxhall-trained technicians using genuine parts.
