In addition to this holistic focus on crash protection, Volvo has looked at its electrical and technological systems. The new SPA adds sophisticated functions to protect the driver and existing safety technologies such as seatbelts, pre-tensioners, whiplash protection, airbags and inflatable curtains are constantly being enhanced to make Volvo cars safer.

As well as all this, new Volvos such as the upcoming XC90 and current Volvo V40 feature crash avoidance systems that use cameras, radars and sensors to detect objects around the car to offer support to the driver. The new features also include an auto brake feature that detects pedestrians and animals that a driver might miss when driving in the dark, and then brakes to avoid them.

So if you’re looking for some of the safest new cars for your business, look no further than the current (and future) Volvo product line-up. With nine models available now, and various new and updated cars on the horizon, Volvo is set to be an industry leader in terms of safety, technology and innovation for many years to come.
