Volvo launches sporty V40 R-Design model with £239 lease rate
The Volvo V40 R-Design looks the out and out sports hatch, but with rock bottom company car tax and an amazing 79mpg.
VOLVO is expanding the V40 hatchback range with a sporty looking R-Design model.
What’s more, the new Volvo V40 R-Design will be available on a monthly business car lease rate of just £239 a month.
Among the stand out feature of the Volvo V40 R-Design are a re-profiled front bumper and rear diffuser, five-spoke 17 inch alloy wheels, special nubuck upholstery, sports steering wheel and pedals and vertical LED day-running lights.

Despite the sports appearance, there is no go-faster penalty on company car tax or runaway fuel costs to contend with.
The D2 model, with a 1.6 diesel engine and just 94g/km CO2, has a company car tax band of just 13% for the 2013/14 tax year.
Business car drivers can expect to pay as little as £48 a month in company car tax to drive a Volvo V40 1.6 D2 115HP R-Design Start/Stop model. Meanwhile fuel economy is an astonishing 78.8mpg, stretching out the stops for fuel.
“We have the D2 sub 100g/km model in all trims, not just our sport R-Design V40,” commented Selwyn Cooper, national corporate operations manager at Volvo Cars. “It provides the Volvo V40 with great tax efficiency but without any design compromise.”
