The inaugural Small Fleet Leasing Company of the Year was Fleet Alliance

The awards will chaired this year by David Brennan, the chief executive of Nexus Vehicle Management – the leading independent provider of corporate vehicle rental in the UK.

Mr Brennan will be able to use his perspective on the industry after eight years as managing director of LeasePlan before moving to his current role to direct the panel of six judges, all experts in the small fleet leasing sector.

David Brennan, CEO of Nexus Vehicle Management states:

“It’s great to see The Small Fleet Leasing Awards recognising the hard work that leasing companies put into providing car and commercial vehicle finance to the SME sector. I am delighted to be chairing this year’s awards.”

The small fleet leasing awards seek to reward excellence from the suppliers of leasing programmes to the SME sector.

As well as independent small fleet leasing firms, the awards also recognise the importance of manufacturer leasing programmes with their own separate award category for the first time.

“The inaugural Small Fleet Leasing Company of the Year was Fleet Alliance. Will they do the double? Or will we find a new winner to crown? We’re looking forward to receiving the entries and announcing our winners,” commented Business Car Manager editorial director, Ralph Morton.

The award winners will be announced at an exclusive luncheon for shortlisted entrants in London on 23 October.
