AS a hard-working SME company car driver, it is the job that you always leave ’til last and one that can take the longest – completing that monthly audit check on-line!

Well not any more.

Wessex Fleet Solutions, which specialises in providing competitive leasing deals for SMEs, has launched a downloadable app to do this, available on both Apple and Android platforms.

After filling in the form via your smartphone, it is then checked at HQ and if there are any problems, they will contact the driver and authorise any work needed.

Designed to make these audit checks more accessible, it has been very well received by clients,  with 400 drivers of the 3000 vehicles managed by clients, having already downloaded the app.

Simon Naylor, Marketing director at Wessex Fleet Solutions, said of the new app: “We are offering this to all our corporate clients to assist in notifying us of servicing or maintenance issues as soon as they appear. Tabs allow drivers to complete vehicle maintenance checks, contact us with servicing requests and access 24 hour call out numbers.
