New business development coordinator

The additional demand for Corby-based CD Fleet Services has seen the company appointed a new business development coordinator to ensure fleet operators and leasing companies continue to get high levels of personal service.

That person is Ed Roots, a 25-year old graduate in Business Enterprise, who joined CD Fleet Services earlier this year to liaise with both vendor and buyer customers. Apart from his business degree, Roots has a background in the automotive retail industry, having worked both as a technician and a sales executive in franchised new car dealerships.

CD Fleet Services has also completed negotiations with local land owners to increase its secure storage capacity to cope with the increased number of vehicles being handled. The extra land will add space for around 20% more vehicles to be stored and prepared, either for pool fleet management or while waiting for online auction.

“There is still demand for good quality cars and light commercial vehicles from both franchised and independent retailers,” concluded Brown.
